Residency Requirements For
City of Buffalo School Board
MEMBER AT LARGE
§2553 of the Education Law requires the candidate be:
a. a qualified voter of such city school district
b. a resident of such district for a period of at least three
(3) years immediately preceding the date of the election
SUBDISTRICT MEMBERS
§2553 of the Education Law requires the candidate be:
a. a qualified voter of such school district
b. a resident of the city school district for three
(3) years
c. a resident of the city school subdistrict which he represents
or seeks to represent for a period of one (1) year immediately preceding the date
of the election
